Aquarium Visit!
Year One have been very lucky! On Friday we had some very special visitors from the marine aquarium to link to our new theme- Year One Saves the World!
We learnt all about animals that produce slime and even made some of our own.
We then explored Merlin the Sharks belly... and phew wee! What a fishy smell!
We had to sort through fish, squid, crabs and prawns! All the good food Merlin should be eating, but we also found different sorts of plastics, metal and glass that would not be very good for poor Merlin.
Year One are going to try their very best to use the 4 R's- to Reuse, Reduce, Recycle and Repair to Save the World!
